The Blackpool Care Home that really does care

Call Us Now!
Choosing a care home can be a challenging experience. It's a big decision and one that needs a lot of thought and consideration. From the very first moment we talk to you we will endeavor to find out exactly what support you and your loved one need and work out the best way that we can help. We will learn all that we can from you about your loved one – not only in terms of their immediate care needs, but about them as an individual – their likes, dislikes, past hobbies, what they used to do, where they grew up and all other relevant detail. For us this is truly important as we want to provide the best possible service, tailored to individual needs and wants. You are encouraged to pay our care home a visit to see our facilities for yourself at 90-92 Queens Promenade, Blackpool. If you have any questions, please call our staff on 01253 352777.

About Us

PNP Care Home was established in 2015 in the building that used to be a 4 star graded hotel. The building has a homely atmosphere and is situated on the sea front at Queens Promenade in Blackpool. We provide good quality, full-time, day and night care for male and female service users aged 65 years and over. The home has been thoughtfully designed to maximise space whilst meeting all present fire regulations. All our staff receive fire training, and the home boasts a modem fire alarm system, the activation of which alerts staff to follow the home’s procedures, including full evacuation if necessary.

Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of residents with a tailored care plan for each individual. Their dedication can be seen across the board - in their cooking, hospitality and organizing activities and regular music therapy sessions for residents.

Aims & Objectives

Our Mission Statement

“We aim to be a provider of the best residential care in Blackpool, to encourage the most independent lifestyle for our guests and to offer a true home from home atmosphere”.

Our Aims
  • To provide appropriate good quality care for the elderly, no matter how dependent residents become, unless prolonged medical or nursing care is necessary or mental health issues arise and the resident Doctor feels they would benefit from more specialist care - e.g. a nursing home or hospital. PNP Care Home caters for long stay, convalescence and respite care needs also.
  • To encourage and enable residents to enjoy a full life, taking into account any specific, individual needs. Residents are offered varied entertainment within the home and encouraged to pursue interests and hobbies. Visitors are welcome at any time, if agreed by the resident.
  • To promote Independence which is actively supported and encouraged. For those requiring support we aim to address needs including hygiene, feeding and mobility.
  • To respect the privacy and dignity of our residents. This is reflected in the layout of the premises including en-suite rooms, and is promoted by all staff at all times.
  • To respect individual preferences including dress, food, religion and social and cultural requirements. Residents can observe religion within the home, privately or with others, and arrangements are available to accommodate those wishing to attend services elsewhere. All diets are catered for with advice available. Menus are varied and drinks and snacks are available at all times.
  • To preserve resident’s rights including voting, personal finance and possessions.
